FoxNews – A Smyrna restaurant owner has been making great sacrifices to stay open. She even sold her car so she could pay her employees.

Vittles Restaurant is a fixture in Smyrna. It’s been serving good old southern food for more than three decades.

  1. I imagine the majority of smaller restaurants are going to fail, either immediately or in a longer term as they never actually recover their losses.

Unless they become government dependent businesses, something which I expect to see a program created for soon that will push them into it if they want to stay in business.

  2. Lazlo tipped his lady barber handsomely yesterday. Way more than the bill. This is because those kinds of businesses are hardest hit and my job is somehow essential. Tell the truth it feels good to spend money on something other than TP or food.
    Don’t worry.
We both wore masks and practiced social distancing.
My ears will soon grow back, I’m told.

  3. Not that lady, but the ones who sold their souls to China for greater profits are today’s villains.

Maybe an execution or two would be a good idea “pour encourager les autres”.

  4. there’s been a 40+ year plague of illegal aliens undercutting legal citizens’ wages. they all got shit on and told to get a different job.

  5. Many restaurants are open here. Take out only. I use the fast food ones for some kind of meat-cheese-bacon order. They are busy. Even Denny’s was open for take out orders.

With all the cash and credit card handling with every customer, how come we’re not losing those employees on a regular basis?

Because it’s BS. None of them are being “perfect” about contamination prevention. Just going through the motions and having fear about something they are told to fear. If it was that prevalent, they’d be dropping like flies.

    Conspiracy I could see:

Whomever sticks their head up exposing the local fraud gets a stealthy visit from a NWO agent and mysteriously contracts the virus. Re-enforcing the fear in others.

They are evil and they not only know it, they love it.
