  2. Didn’t get my PPP loan. Haven’t got my stimulus check. My business being shuttered is costing me $1,000 plus a week in lost income and fixed expenses. The government hasn’t done shit for me so I am now on a 1 man mission to FUCK the government as hard and long as I can. It’s on MF’ers.

  3. @Guy Fawkes, my wife qualifies for PPP loan as well. She’s an independent contractor and checks all the boxes to get the loan. Every single bank has told her a resounding “no,” simply because she doesn’t have a business account. There’s not a single stipulation that says you need a business bank account other than the banks making rules on top of rules.

We also have not received the stimulus check. We fall into what’s called a “filing requirement rule,” that in short says we need to file 2019 taxes before it will be released. Even though it very specifically says “2018 or 2019 taxes filed.”

This past Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I spent ALL DAY each day preparing taxes. I’m still not done. And I’m relatively good with numbers. Every year it gets more complex. I’ve been chained to the government and my blood pressure is thru the roof. To make matters worse, I found an error in my 2018 taxes with not writing off health premiums and I need to amend and refile 2018 taxes! Aaarrrgh!

  4. He has a good point. It would have helped a hell of a lot more if they had just given everyone a tax holiday, no mortgages for a minimum of 3 months and those payments added to the end of the loan.
No can do that though, they need to make sure they still have control over you with taxes.
Government breaks shit, they never fix shit. This country would be a hell of a lot better off without government or at least with the government we were meant to have.

  5. in the long run, he’s ranting about the Federal Reserve Bank … which is neither ‘Federal’ nor a ‘Bank’ … they guarantee, through congress, that all large bank debts will be covered by the US taxpayers (shhhhh, it’s a dirty little secret … don’t tell anyone!), regardless of a banks failure (overextended greed in times of trouble) to stock liquidity

…& I think I need a shower after viewing this

  6. Strikes all around. We are all essentially on strike now, but a massive tax strike? Local? Shutter all the schools? Fine, no taxes for you. Cops wanna fine you for breathing, great, no more pensions for you. How quickly could a truckers strike shut down everything else?

  7. I don’t know if he’s right about this, as thankfully I’m not in the mortgage situation now. But I have been before due to hurricanes, and my mortgage company at the time deferred monthly payments and just tacked then on at the end (as he calmly suggests).

That’s great, but essentially you’re deferring short (immediate) term and the interest on deferred amount just keeps on accruing.

Most ppl aren’t even aware of how little of their monthly payment goes toward principle anyway.
