Van Jones says white voters with seemingly progressive values are the real danger to the black community.

As protests and riots rage across the nation in the wake of George Floyd’s death on Memorial Day, CNN’s Van Jones weighed in by telling viewers who he thinks are the real threat to black Americans. The answer, white liberals, who hide behind a mask of progressive values. 

“It’s not the racist white person who’s in the Ku Klux Klan that we have to worry about. It’s the white, liberal Hillary Clinton supporter walking her dog in Central Park,” said Jones on Friday. more

  6. The Klan and associated groups are mostly not much of a threat.

    Some of them are dangerous, some of them to the extreme, but there really aren’t all that many of them that are willing to do more than talk and they aren’t well received by anyone anywhere.

  7. Well, if you take his comment a little further, it would logically say that the democrat party is not good for the black community. And if you (a black democrat) were to REALLLY go out on a limb, you might say, Trump and his republican conservatives are the real party of inclusion.

    Sighhhh, one can dream anyway.

    p.s. @OneLastTime – you are correct, but that is just a symptom of a deeper problem. Their culture is tribal, and the peer pressure to continue it is strong.
