    …those people do NOT play…I remember one time they repossessed the wheels right off of a car in the company parking lot, in the middle of other cars and everything, did a good, fast job and left it sitting right there on cinderblocks…

  11. The Los Angeles mayor (garcetti) and the city council just paid the ransom – and capitulated to a fascist remake of the city government:

    Los Angeles is cutting $100M–$150M from LAPD budget to be “reinvested in black communities and communities of color”
    “American society is founded on a racial hierarchy, one that is born out of slavery, followed by Jim Crow segregation and corporate abuse of labor. As such, police departments are asked to enforce a system of laws that are designed to reinforce and maintain economic and racial inequality.”

    …I got a GED, had to work a few years when I was supposed to be graduating for urgent financial reasons. Went on to college with it later when I could, but not having a diploma kept me from being able to follow in my father’s footsteps into the Air Force because they weren’t accepting GEDs at the time. I did what I had to do and I made the most out of it.

    I don’t recommend a GED if you can do it the normal way, but not everyone can. It doesn’t necessarily mean you’re mentally deficient, though…

  15. I was so inspired by the ‘because of obama’ video.
    All the ‘aspire to be’s.
    Chances are that they aspired to be, but never achieved.
    Work is required in order to achieve.

    I won’t finish my thought, but you know what I am thinking.

    There is no silver lining to the dark cloud that was the Obama administration. None.
