Because D.C.’s liberal Mayor Muriel Bowser allowed activists to paint “Black Lives Matter” on a street near the White House, the legal group Judicial Watch has asked the mayor for permission to paint its motto — “Because No One is Above the Law” — on a street on Capitol Hill.
The message “would be the identical size and coloring of the D.C. Government’s ‘Black Lives Matter’ political message on 16th Street NW,” said Judicial Watch in a June 11 press release.
“Mayor Bowser made a decision to turn D.C. streets into a forum for public expression,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Judicial Watch seeks equal access to use this new forum to educate Americans by painting our organization’s motto and motivation, ‘Because No One Is Above the Law!,’ on a Capitol Hill street.” More

@MJA: Good Questions! So, while they’re at it, would they file a FOIA Request to see the permits for the demonstrations and the invoices from the city to BLM et al for the additional security, portapotties, trash removal, etc. provided by the city?
Rip the streets up with a CAT D9. If they can tear down statues we can tear up their bullshit.
Except D.C. – especially Congress – IS above the law.
Shut the place down.
They are a privately funded group. Send them some $ if you can.

Having raced and street ridden (rode?) motorcycles I am quite familiar with how slippery improper paint on a road can be. How long until there is a multi vehicle wreck in the rain?
