(NEWSER) – AMC Theaters said it wanted to avoid a political brouhaha when its CEO announced masks would be optional when the chain reopens. That didn’t work out. A day after a social media uproar met the news, Adam Aron said Friday that customers will have to wear a mask to be admitted to see a movie, CNN reports. “It is clear from this response that we did not go far enough on the usage of masks,” Aron said, adding that “with the full support of our scientific advisors, we are reversing course and are changing our guest mask policy.” The original decision, he said, was based on not wanting to be “drawn into a political controversy.”

OK, Colonel Literal here. If you cut a slit along the upper inside fold of one of the pleats, the hole is generally not noticeable by the casual observer. It makes breathing hugely easier. You need a straw to drink through it, of course, and if you eat you have to watch out for butter stains. You’re welcome.

The exalted Governor Nuisance learned to eat shit thru a mask yesterday. He ordered all of his kingdom to wear masks and just about every Northern County, including Sacramento County told him to eat shit. The Sheriffs refused to enforce the order.

I’ve been to a movie theater only once in the past ten or so years. That was to see Gosnell, a deeply moving film NOT made by Howood and NOT for your average liberal moviegoer.

The Airlines are doing something similar.. No Drinks or Snacks will be served to protect others from your germs on flights but your ticket price will go up!
