Hickenlooper survives Colorado Senate primary, five-term Congressman Tipton gets out Trumped

JTN: Five-term Colorado GOP Rep. Scott Tipton lost his primary race against a first-time candidate with a strong pro-Trump agenda, and Democrat John Hickenlooper won his Colorado Senate primary race in Tuesday’s balloting.

Tipton was defeated by newcomer Lauren Boebert, a strong gun-right advocate who owns Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado, despite Tipton having been endorsed by President Trump.

Hickenlooper –  a former Colorado governor, Denver mayor and 2020 presidential candidate – was heavily favored to challenge incumbent GOP Sen. Cory Gardner, a race Democrats think they can win in November in their bid to control the Senate. more here

  1. A criminal past is never a determent in the eyes of a democrat. They view it as just a case of slight over enthusiasm.
If the person is republican it amounts to pure evil.

  3. Gardner is a guy as Mark Steyn said on Tucker Carlson sees his spine once every six years. Weak republican in a solid blue state. Senator Hickenlooper. Weak Cory who will not even go on friendly am radio programs and can barely support Trump is almost a footnote in history. Better hope Trump saves him like he did for Nikki Haley with some token job.
