Just The News: The department recently disbanded an anti-crime unit, and reassigned officers.
The New York Post reported that during a certain period of time following the New York City Police Department’s move to break up a plainclothes unit of approximately 600 officers on June 15, the amount of shootings was about three times greater than during the same time period in 2019.
And more shootings occurred in June 2020 than in any June since 1996, the New York Post reported, citing the New York City Police Department.
Officers from the disbanded unit were to be reassigned, the outlet previously reported.
“Without having this tool it will be much harder to tackle rising felony crimes, ‘shots fired’ jobs and the growing number of illegal guns pouring into the neighborhoods,” NYPD Sgt. Joseph Imperatrice, a former unit supervisor said according to the Post. read more

I live next to East New York Brooklyn. It’s 2:00am and fireworks haven’t stopped yet and every so often I hear something that sounds like gun fire. I was a teenager in the 90’s and saw this city change for better, DeBlasio destroyed 20 years of progress in only a few years. I don’t believe this city will ever fully recover. I’m hoping to leave for Arkansas or Florida by the end of the year.
Certain city’s police departments are already out-manned in these riots. How long before they’re out-gunned, as well?
Certain mayors, city councils, police chiefs and governors have to be asking themselves this question, even if they’ve deliberately allowed the riots to continue. As there’s no sign of deescalation, at some point there’s going to be a city taken over by Antifa/BLM and local law enforcement will be defeated.
I believe that the multiple funders of the insurrection want this to happen. They want to force the President to invoke the Insurrection Act and send in Federal forces to the cities.
Perhaps he will have to – he’s now warning the mayors and governors. I just hope he realizes that Congress and certain States will try to stop him – BIG TIME. To survive, his gloves will have to come off – BIG TIME. Arrests of political figures will be necessary and it will be the closest thing yet to an actual trigger of civil war, if not the actual start of one. If this happens, America’s guns are coming out and you can forget the election for the time being.
That’s my take on ‘things’ tonight.

I’ve lived in FL all my life and have seen the influx of people from NY and Cali who are fed up as you are. The problem is that they don’t change their voting habits and we wind up with same politicians you left behind.

The answer isn’t fleeing your state to another more to your liking it’s to take yours back from the scum destroying it. Besides, they’ll just follow you anyway.
For example, South Florida is heavily blue and that’s because of the years of migration from the New England states. They then set about adapting the local government to their liking which has included allowing floods of 3rd worlders to invade. Miami was once a beautiful city but they’ve managed to turn it into a cesspool.
The florida population has almost tripled since 1970, mostly by people escaping other state’s oppressive taxes and regulations. The state is being destroyed by a population explosion that the environment CANNOT sustain.
Floridians welcome visitors, but we like you to do just that, visit then go back home!
