Thirdtwin- You know, I’ve wondered. They seem to be doing some melodramatic headlines, too. A few times I passed on a story because a big deal was made on an article that really wasn’t. Could be because they use AP or Reuters. I don’t know. But they can be doom and gloom, unnecessarily sometimes.
Anyway, I think Trump tweeted, ‘making me look bad’ about that particular border wall was because he thought the attitude of the promoters was like – If Trump won’t do it, WE will have to!-
But I don’t know. It wasn’t explained in the story. You’d think they’d ask him, right?

This reminds me of the subpar steel purchased from China to repair the Bay bridge in 2013(?), with no guarantee it will withstand a large earthquake (which was the plan). Not very comforting to know ‘someone’ greased their palm at the risk of other peoples’ lives.
