President Saves Suburbs From Obama Era Tyranny

Disrn

In a move likely intended to appeal to white suburban voters ahead of the November election, President Trump has repealed an Obama-era housing rule known as the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing order.

Designed to eradicate racial disparities in housing, the AFFH rule ordered that any jurisdiction that received federal dollars had to devise plans on how to reduce housing discrimination. But Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson called the 2015 order “unworkable” and a “waste of time.” More

Actually, Stanley Kurtz went on “Life, Liberty & Levin” the weekend and called the AFFH much worse than a “waste of time.” He more or less described it as an attempted federal take over of local authority that would mandate impoverishing measures that would gut the viability of suburban communities across the nation. 1. I would like to culturally appropriate someone’s culture, just to piss them off, but i can’t find anybody’s culture that i would have an interest in appropriating.

  2. I watched Levin this weekend on this topic. It truly is frightening to learn about the stealth legislation the Obama reign tried to saddle future generations with.

God Bless and Keep our wise President, Trump.

  3. I remember the smug Dems saying, “If Carson is such a smart doctor, how come Trump has him heading HUD?”

    Now you know, Dems.

Maybe super genius Obama should have picked somebody else to lead HUD instead of corrupt, incompetent Julian Castro. Then the damage done might have been permanent.

  4. I hear you, gin blossom. The train tracks inch further out, the bus lines get longer, the developers get elected to town councils, the apartments get built, the old houses go to rentals, the district gets new lines and flips from red to blue. Not much Trump and Carson can do about that. But I guess we should be should be glad for this small victory, even if it is fleeting.

  5. The Burbs, and any place that has storm drains, are going to need saving from those damn blue masks when the rain starts. They’re laying all over the place. Parking lots, streets, etc. Those things don’t do crap for the Rona, but they look like they are designed to plug up storm drains.

  6. May appeal to MALE suburban voters but I guarantee that their wives will cancel their votes…. women voting…. pfft!
Excluding those staunch Conservative Women herewith of course….

  7. I thank God Trump is our President, 🇺🇸 he keeps trucking with all the crap they throw at him on a daily basis.

I woke up to the big “60” today, heading out to meet my cousin for Mexican food 🌮 and Margarita’s. Think I’ll have one for the Trumpster, I know he doesn’t drink and I don’t much either, but I figure he deserves some recognition 👏 every once an awhile. 😁

  8. I worked in a white-collar job for 40 years. We embraced Affirmative Action long ago. We tried, we really did. The majority of those hired were never prepared to meet the equivalency required to do the job effectively. Some did, most did not. It’s not an issue of race. It is an issue of exposure to many, many other factors, including life long education. I use the Obama couple as an example. It’s been said by their professors that they were not impressive students but, they were passed along per AA requirements. No one wants to get in a legal jam so they just play the game. Unfortunately, we all had to endure the perfidious charlatan results from that couple. A lot of the issues we are seeing in the leftist cities today are the result of Obama’s fundamental attempt to change America. Good people are leaving the cities in droves because of it. Keep that cancer in the cities, don’t let it metastasize to the suburbs.
