Parents Will Pay $100,000 For ‘Life Coach’ For Their Kids, Ages 5, 3 and 2

Isn’t that THEIR job?

KFI:

Some parents go to great lengths to ensure their kids become successful adults. Moms and dads might do this by reading to their children each night, or rewarding them for excelling, but one couple is going to the extreme for their five-year-old, three-year-old and two-year-old. They are looking to hire a life coach for the kids, and they’re willing to pay that person $100,000.

The parents, from Aspen, Colorado, posted their job on CareerBuilder.com, writing:

“We are looking for a Life coach to join our High Performance Family in beautiful Aspen, Colorado. As a Life Coach for our children ages 5, 3 & 2, you’ll support them in various areas of educational, experiential, athletic, health and personal growth; helping create attainable and realistic strategies for achieving their goals. You will transform their lives by coaching them in overcoming obstacles and inspiring them to reach their full potential.”

Not only are they offering an “above-average yearly salary,” but also full benefits, a car, a phone, “continual learning education,” life coaching, a yearly ski pass, and full relocation with the first six months rent free. MORE

  1. What has happened in Aspen since Covid is every property for sale has been snapped up by even more insufferable liberals probably from the east coast and this is the result. And these poor $100k life coaches will either need to live on premise or get some of the subsidized housing, that gets you nothing in Aspen.

  4. Fuck that. Just sell em into slavery. Kids gone, problem solved….You and Muffy can park your skis at Little Annies and enjoy your chai tea, all the while pretending you skied….I got a Geraldo story about him skiing in Steamboat that is just purely pathetic

  5. There isn’t a life coach alive that can teach the most important ingredient for success and that is ambition.
Some people are born ambitious and goal oriented, most aren’t!

  6. Dang! Wish we had that amount of money to raise our kids by someone else in the early 80s/90s.
    Had to do it ourselves.
    Imagine the heartburn.
Imagine the heartburn for our parents, raising us in the 60s

  7. I can remember being in 5th grade and hearing adults complain about how they don’t go to aspen to ski anymore because of the coke head rich people. (hollywood was part of it) Even waaay back then!

  8. “Wanted: Surrogate Parent”

translation: we really didn’t want kids, but it was a great conversation starter & comes w/ a certain ‘cache’ … we’ll pay you to deal w/ them … & blame you when they disappoint us, which they certainly will

very sad what we have become … no wonder apocalyptic movies are popular … most of us fantasize of being rid of these cretons

  9. Maybe it’s because MerryMouse said something about Bryan Bowers and his music that I’ve been listening to his album The View From Home that I’ve been listening to it on Pandora today. The old song Satisfied Mind describes this perfectly, the first verse in particular. How many times have you heard some one say, if I had his money, I could do things my way,, but little they they know that it’s so hard to find one rich man in ten with a satisfied mind. I have never envied people with more money than I have because I have seen too many of their kids grow up to be losers because mommy and daddy spoiled them and gave them everything when they were growing up. Money and power doesn’t buy happiness, a lot of the time it just buys misery and ungratefulness. I’ve stayed away from these kids growing up because they tended to be snobs and jerks who think that their parents will bail them out from everything that happens to them because of their bad choices. I’m extremely grateful that my parents taught me and 3 brothers that even though we were working class people that I don’t have to apologize for who I am and where I came from, they did a darned good job of raising us and I’m thankful for that.
