Records Show Weissmann Special Counsel Team Erased 15 Phones After IG Requested Review

CTH: Newly released records [SEE HERE] from a FOIA show the Weissmann/Mueller special counsel team “accidentally” wiped 15 iPhones of data early in 2018 after the phones were requested by the office of inspector general for review.

Mueller’s lead investigator Andrew Weissmann accidentally wiped two phones himself; through a lengthy process of entering the wrong passcode several times over a period of three hours; removing data to show his activity during the special counsel.  Weissmann claimed to have entered the wrong password (takes ten attempts) and that erased all the data.  Greg Andre, a former deputy assistant attorney general in the Justice Department’s criminal division, made the same claim.

Wiping your phone to hide damaging information only works if the other phone you are communicating with wipes the same data.  Guess what happened?  Yup, exactly that.

James Quarles III who worked with Mueller in private practice at the Washington office of Wilmer-Hale, claimed his iPhone magically erased itself.

Before joining the special counsel team Rush Atkinson worked under Andrew Weissmann in the DOJ’s criminal fraud section where he specialized in financial fraud.  Atkinson claims he too entered the wrong password ten times and accidentally erased all the data.

At least twelve other people assigned to the special counsel investigation had similar “phone wiped/erased” issues which blocked the inspector general from his review.

One “accidental” method used repeatedly was to place the iPhone in airplane mode and then lock it without providing the password.  Retrieval attempts then erased all data, and returned to factory settings after unsuccessful passcode entries. more here

SNIP: Let one of US try that shit and see what happens.

  1. Yeah Joe – I read a story a day or so ago that Barr says there might be more charges coming. Maybe it’s just me, but I’d like to see the first charges made before I start believing their might be more charges.

And another source says that there were more than 30 phones that were erased by this crowd. I’m beginning to think they might possibly be hiding something ……. just maybe.

Anybody with multiple brain cells knows that if the average joe6pak did this they would already be serving time. If nothing else, charge these jerks to the max and force them into bankruptcy defending themselves against the charges that we all know they are guilty of. Even if they walk, the process would be at least some punishment for them.

  2. accidentally on purpose:
Seemingly accidentally but actually; deliberately, intentionally, knowingly, by design, purposely, willfully, in accordance with an action agreed to be taken by the coverup committee.

As in – The corrupt investigation to overthrow the last presidential election team accidentally erased every cell phone in existence that could possibly have copies of the same incriminating data.

I’m guessing the special council team was not wearing their mask and practicing social distancing. As a result every single one of them caught the “forget-your-cell-phone-password-you-have-entered->1000X_virus”. Yeah, that’s it. The virus caused it.

  5. Great article by Sundance. Reading the comments, I don’t believe that the deleted text messages cannot be retrieved, since these miscreants didn’t swipe things as thoroughly as President Elect Hillary Rodham Clinton did when she got caught using a private server. All it takes is the political willpower. That will disappear if Dementia Joe and Kalamity get elected.
