When I lived in Chicago, he was a football god. Man did he have some moves. He looked untackleable running the ball when he got going.

Watched his six touchdown day which was a “Rookie Record” that still stands. Believe it ties the record for most TD’s in a single game. And yes he certainly was “Sweetness” to watch.
RIP! A great player and gave back to the community.
Payton more durable and watched his 275 yd game against the Vikings at solder field that made it look like he was playing against H.S. players.
Yes, back when. Haven’t watched the Nation Felon League in a number of years now.
Have a couple of dollar bills minted in 86′ with Ditka, Payton, McMann, Singletary, Hampton singing them, never got Dent’s autograph to make it complete n my mind.
