The woman was sitting in the bleachers with her mother when she got into an altercation with the cop about mask-wearing at a middle school in the town of Logan, the Marietta Times reported.
Video of the incident, which was posted to YouTube, shows the woman resisting as the officer struggles to handcuff her for nearly two minutes before he deploys his Taser.
The woman, identified in the report as Alecia Kitts, repeatedly tells the officer to “get off of me,” the video shows.
“You’re not arresting me for nothing, I ain’t doing nothing wrong,” she yells after the officer orders her to place her hands behind her back.

…I notice that he seems unconcerned about the proximity of the other woman as well, who could be shocked in a resistance ladder if she’s in contact with the first woman, or knocked down the bleachers by the first woman’s flailing….
…and for God’s sake, THEY WERE OUTSIDE! And, for what it’s worth, more than 6 feet from anyone else. Even if she was DRIPPING Chink Flu, what danger did she pose to ANYONE that was proportional to the actions the cop was taking?

Masks are stupid, they don’t work, and I’m opposed to the stupid mask orders. This woman should not have been arrested for not wearing a mask. Cited, maybe (still stupid), or told to leave a property where mask wearing was required. If she refused to put on a mask or leave, she could rightfully be arrested for trespassing. The linked article and video don’t explain the arrest fully.
A few, perhaps unpopular, observations.
1. The cop started out wearing a mask. It got knocked off in the struggle.
2. We get pissed at BLM for resisting arrest, yet that is what this woman is doing.
3. When someone gets shot or hurt while resisting arrest, we say they deserved it because they should’ve submitted. She got tasered because she resisted.
4. We get pissed because BLM picks and chooses what laws to follow. This woman is picking and choosing which laws to follow.
If we are going to be consistent we should apply our standards to everyone. If you want to buck the laws, however stupid they are, be prepared to pay the price.
Once again, I think the mask laws are stupid and a political ploy to help aid mail-in voting and the resultant voter fraud to try and get a scrambled egg elected.
So let’s video with commentary but don’t step in to stop this idiocy. Face masks/coverings (the new oppression device) ARE NOT law, therefore not an offense. And whatever happened to 6′ “distancing” as another “option”, especially outside? I smell lawsuit by this woman…she’ll own that police department.

I probably would have put on a mask while giving this rent-a-cop an earful about how no one was within 20 feet of me and how stupid these rules were and how I choose not to be the kind of sheep who wears a mask when alone, in my car, or in the shower.

The cop was a dumbass if he thinks not wearing a mask is a crime requiring arrest. Or if that is what his supervisor is telling the officers to do they’re the bigger dumbass. However, don’t fight with them, go along peacefully. Then sue the hell out of them later for wrongful arrest. Difficult to believe that kind of nonsense happened in Logan, Ohio.

Wherein Gabriel Rench stated the officers did not want to arrest him, but were being forced to by their superiors. Yet earlier in Sept the mayor of Moscow was officiating at a large public event, not wearing a face mask and none of them were cited or arrested.

They have it buried under a headline “LHSD deals with threats after video goes viral”
It is clear the community is ticked off to all hell over this incident.

BTW: The current LOGON mayor of Logan is Republican Greg Fraunfelter, who began a four-year term in January 2016.
