12. The silver lining is that the likelihood of him getting immediate help is high. “Time is Tissue.” Every second counts. Dr. Paul went straight to CT, then the Cath Lab. Very, very good odds for positive outcome.

14. Dear Lord, we come before you today to ask Your mercy on one who has struggled tirelessly against those who would steal the very rights You gave them from Your children on Earth, that would deny them even the right to worship You as You command.

    Today, that warrior is fallen, felled by the effects of age or disease endemic to this sin-sick world. We know he has to go home to You sometime, but Lord this man has been a great warrior for us, and we have need now more than ever of all the strength we can muster, from men such as this that were annointed by You and given gifts by You for this very purpose.

    Please Lord, walk around his bedside, preserve his wisdom, touch his doctors and nurses with Your knowledge as the Ultimate Physician so the may bring their full, God-given talents to bear in restoring this fighter who was wounded even as he did battle to us, to Your glory and as a show of Your mercy.

    We are not worthy to ask of ourselves, but we ask it of You on the Blood of Your Son as You command, as His Blood and His Grace is all that makes us worthy to approach the Throne thus. Please Lord grant us this mercy, and all the mercy inherent to Your name, that we may stand just a little while longer and bring as many to You as we can encourage to come before Your soon and very soon Judgment must fall.

    And we ask it all in the precious name of Jesus,

17. For my whole life, there has been no political figure that I have held in higher esteem, nor trusted more to tell the truth, nor believed that he always acted and spoke consistent with clearly stated principles, than Ron Paul.

    I have had the pleasure and honor to have met and spoken with him on multiple occasions. Face-to-face in private he is no different than he is in his many televised events. What we’ve seen has always been what we’ve got.

    You are kind, but anything good you see is my Lord, not me. I do appreciate that our hosts let us share prayers and God’s Word in their public forum, and I am always comforted to hear from a believer such as yourself here, thank you.

    And prayer answered, apparently, Mr. Paul seems to be recovering nicely.
