As a military wife, I remember my husband having to go to greet President Nixon. No cgoice, mandatory military formation, no matter if you just got off shift. I wonder if it is still like that.

When I saw that clip, my first thought was he’s making a pale attempt at channeling General Patton, or at least George C. Scott’s interpretation.
