Posing for My Portrait, Part 2

Images from:

1 TennDon (Blue Bird) Male Blue Bird watching over his nest and keeping an eye on the paparazzi. Taken this spring in Nashville, TN
2 systemically confused (Kilo) “So, why is it again that there is air?”
3 systemically confused (Logan) I TOLD myself I was not going to eat so much this time…
4 TennDon Juvenile Deliquent Trash Panda, a.k.a., Rocky Raccoon. Taken at Radnor Lake State Park in Nashville, TN
5 Tony R (Cooper’s hawk)
6 Rick (Lia and Lucas) (Lia – .5 Chihuahua & .5 Yorkie) (Lucas – a Maltese kind of guy)
7 Poor Lazlo (Angus)
8 Walpurgis (Swallow-Tailed Kite) In the back yard
9 Tim Buktu (Mowie) The new kid on the block
10 Truckbuddy (Sammy)
11 Miss Kitty (Miss Kitty) Miss Kitty was a special kitty, she showed up on my parent’s property one day and it was love at first sight. My parent’s were a stray magnet and some of the cat’s we’ve owned over the years showed up that way. The house is so empty and I’m brokenhearted, I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact she is gone.

  1. Logan looks like he is very relaxed. We had a cat, Marley, that would half-close his eyes like that and purr loudly – I think he was very happy and mellow. He was safe and had nothing to be concerned about.

  2. Serious and intelligent.
Unlike the critters in the Demonrat Party.

I know I shouldn’t mix critters and politics – just couldn’t hep myseff.
    (not my fault)

    Another week starting beautifully!
    Thanks, Claudia!

  3. Miss Kitty was a great comfort to me after my Mom passed. We would hang out together watching Classic TV, me on one pillow and her head on her bed like a pillow and we’d talk, had a way of purring that sounded like she was talking to you.

I told her just the other day, please don’t leave me we have more of life to see, but it wasn’t meant to be. 😿

Little Missy Kitty, you will always have a special place in my heart, your with the Lord and Mom and Dad now and one day we will be together again. 😽

Thank You Claudia and to everyone who sent pics of their furry and feathered friends. God Bless and Happy Sunday!

  4. I have a girl squirrel who loves me (or, maybe it’s my peanuts). She comes on my back porch, sits up on her haunches, puts her hands together like she’s praying and gives me that look. “I’m a good girl! Will you reward me?”

I feed her and tell her she’s a good girl.

  5. Evenin’ everyone. (Was up at the Bunker.)

    Great Pet Portraiture group!

VERY nice detail and timing @TennDon…

And @Rick – Lia looks…like a PERSON…like one of those old western photos of the sheriff with the droopy mustaaaaaache with DEEP eyes.

Have a great safe week and be strong.

    Thanks C!
