I’ve known 2 wonderful people who died from this vicious disease.
Brilliant, active minds trapped in bodies that held them captive.
It was heartbreaking to watch.

Hits close to home. Col Angus and I lost our mom recently. There’s nothing like it. Sure wish I could go back for one more hug.

But watching the father watch his son, supporting his mother in his arms, and when the father stepped in having the wisdom to know that…that dance was over…that was tough.

That really got me. My mom died when I was young. I still miss her. Then my dad died suddenly 9 years later. I feel so cheated.
