I’ve always been a perennial optimist. Hope (and not the “I wish” kind, but the certainty of God’s character and who he is) has always been easy for me, even when my world feels like it’s been shaken to the foundations. Yes, it’s happened several times in my life, but I always had that connection that I knew God was there, that he loved me and he would never leave me.
These last few weeks have tested that optimism; that hope. I have faltered, even had moments of weakness knowing that so many people in government who should be on President Trump’s side, have thoroughly disappointed us. And not for the first time. But this time is different. It’s the fate of our nation, as many have lamented that our Republic will be lost if we cannot fix our election process.
I have (and you most likely have gotten tired of hearing) decried so many times about the massive voter fraud that the left was engaged in and had planned for this election. Whoa, Nellie, I sure didn’t imagine THIS! What I was screaming about here and on Twitter pales with what we are now finding out.
Why didn’t the people who care about this country DO something BEFORE the election? I started my ‘crusade’ the year that Al Franken stole his election back in 2008 (I was there and remember vividly) and kept it up in ever increasing concern that the left was developing new and inventive ways of robbing me (and us) of my vote. Others, more visible than me, took up the call. Nothing from government. Talk about despair; you want to take government (ok, the Republicans) by the lapels, shake them and yell into their faces, “DON’T YOU CARE?”
Well, now we will see just who cares. And depending on what happens, if we ever have fair elections going forward, we need to kick the do-nothings out of office. Sigh, ok. Sorry for the rant. Now you can read the article.

Recent history can be disheartening: four-plus years of a concerted effort to destroy the president. Media, moguls, and mega-donors united in what seems like a conspiracy of epic proportions to destroy our Republic . The federal justice system is playing rope-a-dope, quashing every single “new hope” because the FBI and Justice Department never even start investigations into leftist malfeasance, or they drag on forever, or they just disappear like sand through dry fingers.
Now we have swirling and conflicting information about this election. There’s so much that we see with our own two eyes, and we cannot understand how “they” can’t see it. In this case, “they” are our friends, our families, our neighbors, elected officials, the press. Deliberately or not, they are blind. But we see all the evidence and cannot understand how it’s possible we won’t prevail. And then we see that the cogs of the leftist machinery are so well oiled and the clock ticking so loudly.
We tell ourselves not to despair.

The same Heavenly Father that knows when a sparrow falls certainly knows about the despair good people are feeling right now, we must have faith.
All actions are in accordance with his purpose. If it is his will that this great nations suffers, declines in relevancy through out the world and becomes like all the other nations that turned their back on him, so be it. No hardship is placed before us that we can not endure, that is his promise to us.
I fully expect a Biden presidency and am sad at what I expect will happen, I fear for our civil liberties, our right to worship and the new guard trampling over everything we value. But if think we will rollover and submit, how stupid are they?
, I look up and see those who are putting all their efforts into the fight as the vanguard for all of us. Trump, Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, Lin Wood, and so many others are not giving up. I am awed when I see their determination to rally on through the frustrating strictures of the law and the endless rules of gamesmanship, all the while keeping up their spirits and fighting for all of us.

I too float from despair to mild optimism. My despair comes mostly from Rudy Didn’t fully trust him when he was mayor and can not forgive him for dropping out of the NY senate race allowing Killary to win and ultimately end up running for president. sorry I still don’t trust him.

President Trump never gave up on me. I’ll never give up on him.
Not that it should be considered advice, but what I’ve been trying very hard to do for myself is live in the exact moment. What is it that I’m supposed to be doing right now? Typing this, before that retrieving the turkey from daughter’s house, before that devouring a standing rib roast, etc., etc.
Short of the earlier petition thread that was posted, I don’t see much for me to personally do that will really have any effect on anything other than raising my blood pressure.
I’ll look at less media if that’s possible and continue trying to live in the moment. Not “a day at time” but sometimes an hour or less at a time. Still coming here, but damn few other sights. Also rereading through “my little library” (currently Corbett). And I wanted the election to be over and done with. Careful what you ask for…

i believe in president donald j trump and though retired have recently started working “manual labor” construction for a local guy….. though i soak my feet twice a day and take bourbon for the lower back, i feel better than i have in years…… or days.

I have been enrolled in and doing the US Grace Force 54 day novena for Donald Trump and our country. Today was day 16. It includes a set of prayers and a meditation followed by saying a rosary. I read the prayers with my morning coffee and say the rosary in the car on my way to my office. I don’t know if it will help but I know fear is the absence of faith and I refuse to lose faith. I’ll pRay for you Claudia, with my novena. There is power in our devotion to God and the USA.

Yesterday morning, I got up pretty early and walked out into my back yard just to soak up another beautiful, peaceful morning and to thank God for it. Spiders had made their webs overnight to trap bugs to eat and they were heavily soaked with dew. As the sun began to shine on these watery webs I realized how beautiful they were. I retrieved my camera and took closeup photographs of them and posted them on my FB page. I hope the beauty of the photos made people forget their troubles for a while. It made me feel better knowing God made these things for us.

Please take what I write below as my earnest understanding of His Word, though only a VERY cursory description of key points on which I hope that you will study on your own. The ONLY “scriptures” (Acts 17:11 and many others) in which the Bereans (or anyone) could search out whether what the apostles taught were so, was and *IS* the Hebrew scriptures. In no way do I imagine that I have all things correct, nor does ANYONE else, rabbinic or christian. We will ALL bear our shame in the things which we ascribe to our Saviour that just are not so. He will show each of us where we were wrong. But, with our hearts filled with the absolute desire to dilligently guard His instructions for a set apart life, striving to enter at the straight gate, we will be with Him in His Kingdom. That is my prayer for ALL.
Salvation is offered to the WHOLE world by the mercy of our Savior YHWH (Isa 43:11;45:21, Hosea 13:4), yet, just as ALL Israel was saved/delivered from Egypt, not ALL will remain in covenant with Him, to receive the crown of life.
YHWH has one (echad) covenant people, Israel (not the current secular nation), and the covenant in its core expression is this, hearken (sh’emah: Hear and obey) unto His voice, to do all that He commands, and He will take you as His people (native born, grafted in, ie mixed multitude, Caleb, Ruth, et al), an adopted child of the living Elohim. Deut 8:2 is a summary of what the purpose of this life serves. Do we serve ourselves or our Creator?
The kingdom was split, to YHWH’s purpose, but, He will regather, rebuild, restore the kingdom (Ezek 37) and separate the goats from the sheep (Ezek 20; 34:17; Matt 25:31-34). The kingdom split is foretold in the Joseph narrative (and others), but portends to the sifting of the house of Israel (Ephraim, northern kingdom, Christianity and its deverivations) through the nations, which are yet to be regathered. This is the prodigal son and other parables, with Judah being the older brother who is always with the Father, though, not without their own transgressions. Just as Jacob stated in his blessings, before his death, giving a double portion the birthright to his adopted, Ephraim and Manessah, grandsons, which were to become (the fullness of the) nations. The sceptre to remain in Judah until the Messiah is come. Now 2 days (2 thousand years) without a reigning king. The process of regathering began with His crucifixion and will culminate when He returns to fully reign on earth.
This is why our Messiah says that He was sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matt 15:24, et al). It is by this “mystery” that the WHOLE world *might* receive salvation, but, there is more than just some mental exercise of acknowledgment of who He is and what He has done. The name (authority) which He will rule with His rod of iron (Torah) is eternal, just as He and His perfect way are from everlasting to everlasting. He is YHWH, He changes not (Mal 3:6), praise His holy name. The resurrection of Messiah is like an exclamation point to the whole of scritpure, that His Word will stand and that which He speaks will be done. We must fully rely on the FACT that He is who He says He is and will do what He says.
Diverse weights and measures are an abomination unto YHWH (Deut 25:13-16), yet, there is a collection of doctrines and traditions of men, which seems to go out of its way to be antithetical to a majority of scripture. In following these doctrine we inherit lies, vanity and things in which are of no profit. (Jer 16:19, et al). We do this blindly, without question in many cases, as if the words of men should outweigh the everlasting truth of YHWH (Ps 119:142;160;126).
By His Word we know what has been, will be again and that He will require it. There is nothing new under the sun (Eccl 1:9, 3:15). Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear Elohim, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For Elohim shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (Eccl 12:13-14).
There is nothing in the writings of the apostles that is not an expansion, clarification and filling up with the complete meaning of that which is in the Tanakh (“old testament”, as if the Word of YHWH ages or could be abrogated). There is no understanding of the apostolic writings without knowing the Torah, Prophets and Writings (TaNaKh), it just is not possible. Otherwise you get what we have in “church” doctrine, twisted and folded error upon error, circular reasoning even.
