Sea shanties are a trend and hip in the hood, which is hypocrically often guilty of cultural appropriations.
This artist, Topher is a patriot and rapper who incorporated rap and a shantie in the song, “The Patriot”. He’s been removed from Spotify so he’s the real deal.

A quick analogy-my friend has an occlusion in the main artery in his leg. The doctor told him to walk daily. It was painful at first. I walked with him and we walked super slow. But soon, he got stronger. The ultrasound showed that the smaller veins in his legs had grown bigger and were now pumping blood around the occlusion.
