    Don’t discount it completely if they have the same rules as naming a ferry by public vote – Boaty McBoatface.

    Looks like Loco beat me to it.

    (I write first then check for dups. I’ll lose my original thought if I read first.)

    Still, I stand it will be something simple and stupid if the public gets a say-so.

  2. “Sir Plows A Lot” is on the list.

    I work in a place that had an employee naming contest for the Cartesian robot in a new palletizer cell.

    They chose “Sir Stacks A Lot”.

    …it was a stupid name THERE, too…

    “Any robot built by Cartman is called ‘Awesome-o’, Supes.”

    “Cartesian” = programmable using an XYZ coordinate system used to describe movements through 3 dimensional space as pioneered by René Descartes.

    “Cartman” = “Why is it that everything today has to do with things either going in or coming out of my ass?”
