Xi Declares The End Of “Extreme Poverty” In China

Washington Post

To great fanfare, Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Thursday declared his country’s “complete victory” over extreme poverty.

In an hour-long speech delivered from the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Xi said the government under his leadership has waged and won “a massive people’s war against poverty,” lifting 100 million people out of destitution. The official news agency Xinhua called the achievement the “great leap of a millennium.”

  1. I’m certain the evil chink rat bastards are working on Covid-22.

The sequel will kill billions while our own evil, incompetent government cocksuckers worry about “feelings” of “women” with hairy balls competing with actual females.

I wish they were all dead.

  2. Whenever any government entity declares an end to poverty, remember this:

The most efficient and effective way to end poverty is to eliminate the people suffering it.

  3. I was in china 12 years ago. I recall seeing the most extreme poverty I had ever witnessed:
A poor man in a vacant city lot, squatting over a small fire, heating a can of something over the flame. He was ankle deep in muck that covered most of the lot. There was a small shelter next to him, made up of scrap metal, piled in the shape of a teepee.
I doubt that kind of poverty has been eliminated in the past 12 years. The ccp just adjusted their definition of poverty.

I don’t think it’s a posting error. I believe something else is happening that’s dropping the links. Here is a link to the article.https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/asia_pacific/china-poverty-economy-growth/2021/02/25/9e92cb18-7722-11eb-9489-8f7dacd51e75_story.html.extremepoverty. -Dr. Tar
