After a city council vote Wednesday, Atlantic City will repaint the Black Lives Matter tribute which confused drivers on the street.

Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small said the 2020 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard street mural honoring Black Lives Matter would be repainted smaller, due to driver confusion caused by its massive yellow lettering. “It was an oversight on our part, and when we realized it, we fixed it,” Small said Thursday. 1. i think it would be a good idea to create a map of the “no go” zones in America. color code it to reflect the chances of physical harm/killed. could put an app on your phone to alert you when approaching danger. pay extra for demographics overlay. such a nice place we live (sarcasm).

  2. so the days of “the right to freely travel” are over? and any information to alert citizens of danger has been squashed? i guess the demographics overlay is a bust too. sounds like we the prey. any chance i get a refund on my school taxes if the kids aren’t going, i need a new personal carry. uh never mind they sold out, ammo too.

  3. The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices is adopted by state departments on transportation. It governs signs, lights, and street markings. The lane markings, crosswalk markings, and directional arrows are allowed and are clearly defined. They are unreadable in the pictured street.

  4. racism = survival. used to call it instinct or innate behavior back when science was a real profession. if you cannot believe your own eyes, who you going to believe?

  5. These road painted surfaces are very slippery. Hard to stop fast on and tires slip when taking off. Dangerous, as they seem to attract morons.

  6. Time for a line of pickups or vans (with rear doors lifted up) (and all license plates covered) to do a “midnight run” with black paint (spray, or buckets and wide brooms) and do a single pass-and-run down that street, and restore the street to its original black asphalt color. After all, don’t black lives matter? Then why paint with yellow?

  7. All these “confused drivers” are obviously racists and should not be allowed to operate any motorized/non-motorized or wheeled vehicle………………….maybe shoes too.
