I usually make a Tiramisu or a Strawberry Shortcake, but this year, I decided to make one of those shaped cake things. I don’t know what they’re called, officially. I’ve never made them before, so I did a trial run.

And I Nailed it!!!
*face/palm*

I don’t know what I was thinking by carelessly adding the powdered sugar.
The bunnies look coked up. [Those are roses next to them]
But I didn’t stop there.


I thought, “You know what that one in the back needs?
Giant chocolate chip eyes.”

Then, I lit them on fire with those sparkler candles that never go out no matter how much air and spittle you throw at them.

Et, voilà!
[Ah! Quelle pagaille!]

On second thought, I kinda feel bad that I gave that one eyes.
[He may come for me in my sleep tonight]

Haaaaapy Biiiirthdaaaay Tooo Meeee…

PS. I’m being taken out for a birthday lunner [Some time between lunch and dinner]. I’ll get some cake there, instead. lol

  2. For those that have not tried it, the Mexican tres leches cake is bar none the best tasting cake on the planet.

    We got one about 10 years ago for my kid’s birthday at a local bakery. Since then we have been one of their best customers, superb.

  7. I make mine too. The most important ingredient is Cocaine.

    I like to spend my birthdays in in bed in the company of my underage relatives. As of late I’m being kept in an undisclosed location, far from any cameras.

  16. Happy Birthday, MJA. I wish my wife would try that. Instead of trying to make concrete planters and birdbaths. Sheesh. What a heavy mess. At least I’m getting some broken chunks to stop the erosion in the gully.
