Just The News:
Conservative comedian and commentator Steven Crowder says You Tube has demonetized and locked his channel for allegedly violating the platform’s community guidelines.

Crowder announced Wednesday on Instagram that he was “banned from youtube.”

The video-sharing website seemed to confirm Crowder’s allegations in a statement to the The Verge.

“In order to monetize on YouTube, channels must comply with the YouTube Partner Program policies,” the website said. “Channels that repeatedly violate our policies are suspended from the partner program.”

Crowder’s “Lowder with Crowder” channel is a comedy and political commentary site with almost 5.5 million subscribers.

Crowder claims the video that caused the suspension is related to him speaking about the 2020 presidential election. more

  1. You’d think the most popular president that received the most number of votes ever in history wouldn’t need corporations to be concerned with a tiny minority of people who allegedly doubt election integrity. They aren’t concerned with sHillary on her 5+ year tour claiming the same accusations. Even by the same measure, no corporation is concerned about black minorities committing racism, even going so far as to boldly claim blacks can’t be racist, while showering blacks with money for being blatantly racist. It sure is interesting how they are not concerned with so called equity when it doesn’t fit a narrative. Almost as if equity isn’t really a morality to uphold.

  2. I wish there were a viable alternative to YouTube, but everything else seems to only get support and participants from specialty and fringe elements.

The alternatives all fail to attract a wide audience of users and viewers so far, not providing real competition for general content with YouTube.
