Tucker Unloads On United Airlines For New Hiring Policy That Places Being “Woke” Above Safety

It’s a flying woke Bus. And it’s gross.

Trending Politics-

Following the virtue-signaling protests against the new Georgia election integrity law, United Airlines has announced a shift in its hiring policies. The changes give preference to future pilots based on their gender and skin color.

The airline, which trumpeted the new policy via Twitter, will be devoted to ensuring that 50 percent of the estimated 5,000 pilots to be trained and hired over the next decade will be women and people of color. This is just the latest example of how the nation’s largest corporations have embraced official policies of discrimination against white men through toxic “woke” ideology and Critical Race Theory.

According to United, “Our flight deck should reflect the diverse group of people onboard our planes every day. That’s why we plan for 50% of the 5,000 pilots we train in the next decade to be women or people of color”.

Many find it a peculiar stance for a major airline to place more importance on hiring based on identity instead of solid piloting skills by eliminating qualified candidates. One of them is Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Carlson called out this dangerous lunacy on Wednesday’s edition of his popular show with a blistering monologue against United, where he questioned the airline’s skewed priorities. watch

  1. United Airlines will become a joke as it goes woke! This is just another reason I refuse to fly commercial anymore. Whatever happened to hiring the best qualified person for the job of flying a commercial airliner no matter what race or gender or color they are? United Airlines needs to be boycotted until they cry Uncle and quit thinking that bowing to political correctness will gain them any benefit.

  2. …didn’t there used to be EEOC regulations about race-based hiring discrimination? Isn’t there a 14th Amendment? Didn’t this guy say something once about not judging people on the color of their skin, but on the content of their character?

…guess none of that matters now. Invidious, institutionalized discrimination is back, and brought Jim Crow with it, but hey, it’s all right because it’s against White people who…had…nothing…to…do…with…past…discrimination…

  3. Good old United… Isn’t that the racist airline that got in trouble for dragging an ASIAN man off the plane? Where is the cancel culture’s outrage for something that happened years ago, but seems like only yesterday?!?

  5. I retired from the USAF. To be a AF pilot takes a very narrow skillset. To fly jets narrows down the field even more. Most of the jet pilots are skinny guys that are 5’5″-5’10” with Anglo-Saxon heritage.

There are stereotypes that are very real.

  6. If I cite firsthand knowledge of minority and women student pilots in the Naval Aviation pipeline being given multiple remedial flights after multiple failed checkflights (downs), am I a racist/misogynist? After their second down, white students were sent packing… no review board, nothing… just gone.

  7. janitor; took me 5 seconds to find this; Kara S. Hultgreen was a lieutenant and naval aviator in the United States Navy and the first female carrier-based fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy. She died just months after she was certified for combat, when her F-14 Tomcat crashed into the sea on final approach to USS Abraham Lincoln.

  8. Let me get this straight… Apparently, black people are incapable of getting and managing picture ID to vote, but they can learn to fly multi-engine commercial aircraft? How does that work exactly?

  9. If you survive a United Airlines plane crash piloted by an affirmative action dim-wit, next stop will be an emegency room staffed by affirmative action doctors. When you go to sue for malpractice, you’ll hire an affirmative action lawyer who will present your case before an affirmative action judge.

    Good luck.
