  1. I am astounded by the number of modern “artists” whose work looks like it was done by a 6 year old (as PJW indicated) making millions of (taxpayer) dollars.

    Where do I cash in?

Maybe it is heresy but I have never understood the attraction of Grandma Moses.

    Pablo Picasso comes to mind.

There are many styles of art I like, but not his or Pollock’s

Now, “White cow in a snow storm” is Genius, but not if untitled.

Visited a place in Arizona that labeled the different cacti in it’s garden on the walk up to the entry doors.

A sign with no cactus near it said: “Stealth Cactus”

    Good stuff.

  3. The 45 Communist Goals as Read into the Congressional Record, 1963:

    22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

    23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
