The largest warship in the Iranian navy has caught fire and sunk in the Gulf of Oman under unclear circumstances, local media reported.
The Fars and Tasnim news agencies said efforts failed to save the support warship Kharg, named after the island that serves as the main oil terminal for Iran.

@kcir- yep. Strange that there isn’t more Iranian things mysteriously on fire too. I’m wondering why we haven’t seen much activity in the form of protests or blame or outrage from the Iranians. Usually they are quick to point at us or Israel when something goes awry. I’m hoping more spontaneous combustion events occur there. A nice devastating fire in their nuclear sites would be a real head scratcher.
