The news creates a disturbing new dimension to privacy laws and even private property concerns as hundreds of users have reported their Android phones have had the app surreptitiously installed, without their prior knowledge.
“Thank you MA/Google for silently installing #MassNotify on my phone without consent. But I have a request: Can you also silently install an app that makes my phone explode and k*ll me?” wrote Twitter user Justin Jacobs. Others have taken to the Android app store to register their complaints.
The MassNotify app was developed in cooperation with both Apple and Google, and claims to work anonymously and “not track” users’ private information. This claim was made by Republican Governor Charlie Baker, who said this week: “As we embrace our new normal, MassNotify is a voluntary, free tool to provide additional peace of mind to residents as they return to doing the things they love.” MORE HERE

An update on the covid “vaccines”. A new study from luxembourg shows that the shots do, in fact, make you magnetic. The arm that got the first shot becomes magnetized and then after you get the second shot, the whole body becomes magnetized.
This is all evil that is incomprehensible. It is worse than Hitler. And it is now very easy to see why people in Germany accepted Hitler and people in China accepted Mao and on and on. And people in America accepted Abraham Lincoln, who was worse than Hitler in some ways.

OK, time to reconnect that land-line phone and dump the cell service. Watch, land-line phone service will begin costing $300 a month …with the Long Distance option an extra $100 a month.
Can’t locate the app on my Samsung. I clicked the Manage Google and the China virus Exposure Notification is there but is turned off automatically.
I don’t have a smart phone. BUT I am the long-time owner of a “plan” that has six users.
Last Wednesday, right after I pulled the old flip out of its faraday bag in order to yell at ATT’s “fraud division” that was not allowing my 90+ father buy himself an iPhone 12, ATT sent me a text that read: “…If you do not upgrade your cell phone, then we will send you a free new cell phone. If you do not activate it within thirty days then we will activate it for you… After that, your current cell phone will not work except for 911 and 611.”
Well, that works for me.
The only time I even carry the thing is when I’m on a long road trip through an isolated area of the country in case of emergency. That would be 2-3 times a year at best. It stays in a faraday bag otherwise.
(No I don’t need GPS! I jot down directions if necessary and just read signs! And when I make a time and place to meet up with someone I expect them to be there; I’m not into making it easy for others to waste my time. How the hell did the world function only 20 years ago…)

I had a land line. The phone company was using it to listen in on my house and I caught them. They’re not secure either.

Watching you, I can install it, turn it on & turn it off on will, you can remove it but I will only reinstall it again. Have a nice day, of course I will know if you do or don’t. To put you at ease, I only collect necessary information.
I can turn this piece of shit off and put it on a shelf if need be.
Any smart phone can be turned on remotely without the owners consent or knowledge. The entire OS can be replaced. The contents can be perused. The phone number can be cloned so every call placed or received is listened to from anywhere in the world. Locations, Camera, and Microphone can be activated despite being turned off. That’s just the way it works; it’s a feature, not a bug.
My Smart phone is a Tracphone. I turned off the covid notification a while back and it hasn’t reappeared. The phone doesn’t leave my house, I use it only for emergencies. Would be difficult to track anything since it doesn’t go any where.
