Ok as a classically trained musician, this is absolute bullshit. The reason classical music is widely performed is because it is one of the most well documented form of music, easily accessible due to it’s historical prevalence, etc
Other musics are harder to come by
because they usually follow some aural tradition vs a written tradition and you would typically travel to the area where the music is from or to Universities with ensembles of those groups. Also a lot of non-classical world music is percussion heavy, well guess what
Most musicians aren’t percussionists. Percussion is one of the most basic instruments cause it’s literally just hitting things which anyone can do and has a low barrier of entry (says me a classically trained percussionist), high skill ceiling tho.
“He’s banging on them bongos like a chimpanzee”
“That ain’t workin …”
I’m triggered by the gun in his profile pic.
Deflect! Deflect!
So many movies have been ruined by soundtracks where some guy is banging on drums so loud you can’t enjoy what’s happening.
Just so you know, Larry Blackmon of Cameo was classically trained at Julliard, so how racist can it be…

There is a direct correlation between the zits on her forehead and the utter nonsense that is coming from her mouth.
Classical music will still be played 500-1000 years from now, none of the crap they call music nowadays will make it past this generation of woke shitheads. Classical music will be always remembered because it’s classic, the junk they play now will be totally forgotten. I’ll take Bach’s music etc. which glorifies God over crap music which only glorifies the carnal nature and Lucifer every day of my life.
Recommend an urgent salpingectomy to prevent this gene from spreading.
Not a single word from that Harpie’s
mouth made any sense what-so-ever……
Fritz the Cat, what the heck is a salpingectomy?
children should be seen and not heard, then along came the internet….
Stupid and proud of it.
Oy! A supercilious, ignorant, know-nothing, mal-educated twit reading a script?
R U shittin ME?
One word: dermatologist.
izlamo delenda est …
What about Neo-Classical?
Baroque?
Romantic?
Opern Intermezzi?
That stuff like Wagner?
Chopin and Tchaikovsky were fags (well, one fag and one pederast, which is a subset of fag), so how’s that fit into that “cis-gendered white” bullshit?
Silly little girl doesn’t know shit – more precisely – she knows nothing but shit.
izlamo delenda est …
Why does it seem that a lot of this “racist explanation” comes from young, white, females? It appears that mental illness in the form of self hate seems to be very prevalent among this demographic.
Geoff, removal of fallopian tubes.
What’s up with so many insufferable white people telling everyone else what’s racist?
My sister is a classically trained professional musician. She has told me that she and others she knows do not consider rap to be music.
I would say that Mozart is proof of the superiority of Western Civilization
Hopefully this dumb chick has had her fallopian tubes removed so she can’t have any children grow up to be as dumb as she is. It’s also obvious she has had a brain removal to be this stupidly ignorant.
I don’t want to work
I want to bang on the drum all day
Maff is hard.
Muzak is hard.
This hit too close to home for me. I’m 69 and I have listened to “Classical” music since I can remember. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t listen or enjoy other types, but that I always cam back to “classical”.
A previous poster mentioned math/music. It’s a well known fact that musicians are generally good at math, but not visa versa.
It takes great musical skill, a knowledge of musical theory, and an innate ear to write a piece that is played and enjoyed centuries later.
As someone said earlier in this post, RAP ain’t gonna be remembered.
Dang, I almost feel like Supernightshade. Has anyone heard from him?
A Zit Faced Girl walks into a bar with a stick up her ass and defiantly asks, ” What Types of Music do you play in this bar?!?”
The Owner answers politely, Both Types.
Country & Western!

Auto Tune gave many untalented people careers.
There has always been a problem with Rock & Roll since it started. The very name is a reference to sexual intercourse.
My parents hated it and called it noise. Me and my friends loved it for its rebellious quality and fast beat, which made everyone over-excited.
Over the past 60 years, some of Rock has been very good, a lot is mediocre, and some of it is putrid. I have mixed feelings about it generally.
Take just one song, The Beatles “Lovely Rita”, the meter maid. Through most of it seems a nice song about a pretty lady, at the end, it sounds like the band brought Rita and some other women into the studio for an orgy, everybody grunting and breathing hard, till the song and the band seem to come to a collective climax. A long piano cord ends it, as though the seed has been finally ejected.
I ask myself: would it have been as good a song without the sexual imagery? I say yes, it would have been. Rock & Roll was like a gateway drug to debauchery. It didn’t have to be. There were lots of nice, innocent Rock songs that had little or no sex in them. A good many were just about love, or lost love, or finding love, or being heartbroken, many without the sex, which got more and more pronounced as Rock “evolved” into rap and whatever other crap we got today.
“Classical Music Will Never Die”.
^^^^ ‘Immortal Beloved’ or ‘Amadeus’? ^^^^
… these guys were doing part of it for the chic’s as much as any rock band
The layered musical complexities and instrumental variety of classical music seems to make it more substantial than tribal, folk music or even Jazz.
Also agreed, rap is not music. It’s poetry – just-barely. Rappers use a music track in the background or as filler in their “songs”.
Sometimes rappers actually use classical music as an accompaniment for their verse.
Yet, most rappers won’t admit they are the ones committing the leftist crime of cultural appropriation.
