  1. I’ve been on contruction sites when the contractors came in to reroute or drain the sprinkler systems. When those are opened the water that has been in those pipes is pitch black and will stain anything it comes in cotact with like India Ink. It is some nasty stuff from sitting in iron pipes for who knows how long. I am certain he no longer fits the suspect discription.

  2. That’s expensive to reset. HD will also have had to pay the fire dept.
That guy didn’t look like he has the money to pay them back.
    Never mind the destroyed inventory.
    Jail it is.

  3. Minimum 120 PSI with a pump to supplement flow as is discharges water.
    Watched too many Ho-Wood movies.

    Second Tip:
Don’t try to crawl through commercial ducts.
They are full of nails facing inward to Pin the Insulation to the interior, it is extremely noisy, and they can’t handle the weight, you will fall through.

  4. I (we, more precisely) installed and maintained the fire systems in the House, which were mostly 1/2″ apertures – that was probably 3/4″. That ain’t street pressure – the fire pumps kick in immediately.
    What a moron.

    izlamo delenda est …

  5. This moron will wind up suing Lowe’s or Home Depot, as it lacked warning signs about climbing up to the roof supports and setting off the high pressure water sprinkler system. Some lawyer is licking his chops right now.

  6. @Different Tim
India ink – I’ve not thought about that stuff in 45 years… Ahh, the memories.

    Also, @Tim
    I think that’s at least 1″, more likely 1.5″ or 2″
