“White Dad SHAMED For BLACK SON”

Dhar Mann is a content provider on YouTube who makes shorts that are described on his IMdb bio as “compelling stories depict real life situations shown by actors that teach important life lessons, inspired by Dhar Mann’s personal experience of success and failure.”

This week’s short is about a father trying to get hot dogs from a vendor who’s more interested in talking about the man’s child and the fidelity of his wife. Watch and cringe. Here

  1. When was that video made, 1968?

Considering that the entertainment industry has been pushing the “blended family” concept for a while now, this is pretty stupid.

The majority of commercials now (and TV shows)are culturally formulaic, usually presenting a mixed race family, either gay or straight. And if it is a straight couple, the man is portrayed as clueless, stumbling and bumbling, and in dire need of direction or advice, which the wife in the family will happily provide because after all she is the smart one of the two.

Of course the progressives see a problem in need of a solution. Conservatives would think nothing of this scenario, freedom exists so that we get to be with whoever we want. But I’m betting this youtuber guy that created the video thinks that people are inherently racist and judgemental, and if given the opportunity will publicly mock or ridicule a mixed raced family. They are in so need of therapy.

  2. I have watched many of his videos through the years. I would suggest everyone check out his page and watch. The videos deal with racism, elitism, and every other societal issue going on now. All have “feel good” endings and, hopefully, make people think.

  3. I’ve been known to hit a nail or two so hard on the head and with way too much force that it ends up buried a quarter inch into the half inch deep indent left in the wood.

That’s what watching that video was like, that nail was hit so hard on its moralistic head that I came away with not appreciating the intended lesson but focused too much on the way the message was conveyed.
