The White House’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure package includes a pilot program for a national mile-driven tax, contradicting President Biden’s previous dismissal of the policy.
Tucked within the 2,702-page infrastructure bill is obscure language requiring the Department of Transportation to test the feasibility of taxing drivers for the number of miles they travel. More
Some bureaucratic parasite evidently figured it’s gonna take three years until they can convince the sheep to go along.
Tax you out of your car.
Tax you out of your house.
Make every single family house into multiple apartments.
Housing awarded by party loyalty.
Federal police force loyal to Reich.
Anything seem familiar.
Let me tell you how it will be
There’s one for you, nineteen for me
‘Cause I’m the taxman
Yeah, I’m the taxman
Should five percent appear too small
Be thankful I don’t take it all
‘Cause I’m the taxman
Yeah, I’m the taxman
(If you drive a car, car) I’ll tax the street
(If you try to sit, sit) I’ll tax your seat
(If you get too cold, cold) I’ll tax the heat
(If you take a walk, walk) I’ll tax your feet
(Taxman)
‘Cause I’m the taxman
Yeah, I’m the taxman
Don’t ask me what I want it for
(Ah, ah, Mr. Wilson)
If you don’t want to pay some more
(Ah, ah, Mr. Heath)
‘Cause I’m the taxman
Yeah, I’m the taxman
Now my advice for those who die (taxman)
Declare the pennies on your eyes (taxman)
‘Cause I’m the taxman
Yeah, I’m the taxman
And you’re working for no one but me (taxman)

Just the start of the journey to a VAT like the EU uses.
Uber eats drivers will love this.
Hilarious thing about that bogus butt-wipe tax thing is that new drivers will quit buying cars since it will be literally non-affordable, putting the auto industry in deeper financial holes than they already are. More and more people will eventually quit driving for the tax expense or limit driving unless absolutely necessary. Any and all of Biden’s trickeries are meant to benefit himself, crackhead son and family, and the party swamp fiends.
You can bet your Aunt Fanny there’re lots more devious shit in those 2,702 pages than just that. The bigger the bill, the more theft, corruption, and extortion – that’s why they write 2000 page monstrosities.
izlamo delenda est …
They have to pass it so they can see what’s in it.
I’d support it, if it was for electric cars only. But you know the government is going to hand out subsidies and tax breaks to incentivize the short sighted to give up internal combustion. Once they’re tens of thousands of dollars invested into electric they’ll pull all the perks and trap a large segment of the driving public with a vehicle that they can no longer afford to drive.

We vote conservative, We voted for Trump.
The Marxists in the Biden administration sees an opportunity for vengeance and retaliation.
I wonder why they even bother with “legislation” anymore?
Maybe to keep the self serving PsOS in Congress looking busy? Just have Circle Back announce the way it’s gonna be and be done with it.
My ’73 Super Beetle becomes more valuable every day.
You can bet the tech is being applied to auto manufacturing as we discuss.
So how would they do it, and how do we convince them our car is sitting in the garage while we’re going for a drive?
