Evidence Presented to Grand Jury in Durham’s Russia Probe

USNEWS: WASHINGTON (AP) — John Durham, the federal prosecutor tapped to investigate the origins of the Russia investigation, has been presenting evidence before a grand jury as part of his probe, a person familiar with the matter said Friday.

The development is a potential sign that Durham may be mulling additional criminal charges beyond the one he brought last year against a former FBI lawyer who admitted altering a document related to a Trump campaign aide who’d been under FBI surveillance. Durham is also expected to complete a report at some point.

A Justice Department spokesman declined to comment, citing an ongoing investigation.

The Wall Street Journal reported earlier Friday that Durham was presenting evidence to a grand jury and contemplating charges against some FBI employees and others outside government. A person familiar with the matter, who was not authorized to discuss it by name and spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed Durham’s use of the grand jury to The Associated Press. read more

    Wha…

Oh. More hope porn from the Deep State. Meant to make us willing to wait for “da ppRoCEsS” to play out.

Wake me up again when someone swings.

Until then, I need to be fully rested. I hear it can be difficult to get a good night’s sleep during a total societal breakdown, and I want to be able to aim my best.

  2. Like everyone I’m not betting on anything happening although I did hear an interview with George Papadopoulos several months ago and he said he could not predict the timeline but these things will come out and no one can stop that.

  3. Anyone remember Kevin Clinesmith? He’s the asshole who altered a CIA email that formed the basis of a FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page. Clinesmith made the email say Page was not a CIA source even though the original email said Page was. For falsifying a government document that was then the basis of a wiretapping application (the duping the FISA court), Clinesmith was sentenced to 1 year of probation.

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg said that the 38-year-old attorney Clinesmith) had already suffered greatly since he was charged and pleaded guilty.

They should have locked him in a dark hole and thrown away the key as a warning so this type of shit doesn’t keep happening.

Always with the goddam “ongoing investigation” and if it’s not that, it’s “national security”. I hate all of these people, including the wretched “sources close to the matter”.

  6. Maybe there will be a “first report” to distract us from planned 2022 election shenanigans for everything that’s passed the five-year Statute of Limitations.
