  2. GM, the Gasket Manglers.
Their combustion motors have had gasket issues forever.
Their electronics, tranies, alternators, instrument clusters etc. are all disasters.
Commercially I switched to Ford F-150’s & Econoline E-250’s and have had a lot less stress in my life.

As far as Cars Go, I bought my wife a Subaru (2014) and have NEVER HAD A BILL from the SUBARU DEALER over $1,000. At GM it was always Quotes for $800-1,200 and FUCKIN SURPRISE, “We found something else $2,500 later anywhere I took them. (rarely the dealership)

Buy a Honda, Toyota, Subaru 4 banger if you want to save on Fuel, Buy a 6 Cylinder if you want a Rocket.

Saves money on Fire insurance too!

  3. I have an 09 Honda CRV and its 114000 miles into a long life. Three sets of tires, two batteries and an AC charge is the extent of expenditures. On longer drives it gets 32 MPG and 24 in city conditions. I’ll drive it until it dies or I do though it’ll likely be me.

  4. Yugo’s, Pintos, Gremlins, AMC Spacers, any other car ever built by AMC (they were all POS’s), Pontiac Azteks etc. were worse, far worse. Chevy should’ve never built the Vega, they were automotive abortions from the get go. The 2nd generation Corvairs were better cars than Vega’s could ever hope to be.
