Marine demands senior leaders accept ‘accountability’ for Afghanistan, gets removed from position

FOX: Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller was relieved for cause after demanding that senior U.S. leaders hold themselves accountable for actions made during the U.S. military’s withdrawal from Afghanistan that led to the deaths of 13 service members.

Officials confirmed to Fox News on Thursday that 11 Marines, an Army soldier and a Navy corpsman were killed in explosions near Kabul’s airport Thursday. Another 169 Afghans were killed, according to two officials who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

Scheller, a father of three who has been in the USMC Infantry for 17 years, mentioned senior military leaders including Marine Commandant Gen. David H. Berger, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark A. Milley, whom he said are “supposed to advise.” more

  1. I read the caskets arrived and no one from the Biden admin was there. Perhaps some are woke but I’ve heard a lot of calls from current and former military that are beside themselves with this treasonous BS.

  2. I hope that if DeSantis or Trump win in 2024 (odds aren’t in their favor given how the Dems cheat) that they first thing done is to fire ALL of the top military brass and bring this guy and the fired head of the Space Force back and put them in charge.

  3. Thus the difference between a leader who cares for his troops, and a political chair warmer who’s worried about looking bad. (although in the upper echelon, too late traitors)

  4. Hey General Milley and SecDef Austin…I thought y’all were hitting the books on “white rage”. Well, here’s the rage, and it ain’t just white. It’s white hot. Leave now. And take that f—king toad LTC Vindman with you.

  5. I’m so grateful for this man. His courage, integrity and honor will, hopefully, embolden others to stand with him and demand accountability.
I pray that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords will cover and protect him and his family, always. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
