Arizona AG to Maricopa County: Provide Election Data or Lose $700 Million of State Funds

ConservativeBrief- The Arizona Attorney General has escalated the fight over Arizona’s Maricopa County’s refusal to comply with an election audit subpoena issued by the state Senate.

The State Attorney General’s office has ordered Maricopa County to do as it says or lose its state funding. State funding provides for nearly a third of the county’s budget.

In a statement late last week, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said that Maricopa County, which is the fourth largest in the state’s population, is in violation of state law by its refusal to comply with the request for internet routers in the 2020 election audit and review of former President Donald Trump’s loss.

The Washington Examiner reports that in Brnovich’s ruling, “Maricopa County Board of Supervisors is in violation of state law for failing to comply with the Arizona Senate’s legislative subpoena related to the 2020 election audit. If MCBOS does not change course, the AGO will notify the Arizona Treasurer to withhold Maricopa County’s state-shared funds as required under the law.” more

  1. Shouldn’t someone be in jail already – solitary confinement? This is a joke really. The AG is using the same tactics on Maricopa County as they are using on the unjabbed, but far worse. Taking money from a county is nothing – it’s a spit, taking away an individuals right to freedom and the ability to support themselves, and the punishment is far worse over a jab than it is over voter fraud.

  2. January 6th protesters have been in solitary confinement for 8 months now and the prosecutor is still trying to figure out what they did wrong. So why aren’t the Maricopa County election crooks in prison?

  3. Simple, buy the routers to replace the ones they want to investigate.
They have been claiming any equipment turned over to Cyber Ninjas is deemed unusable because if has been tampered with (uncertified).
