On Friday, Arizona state Republicans announced the findings of the Arizona Senate audit of the 2020 presidential election results in Maricopa County.
Among the audit’s many findings was that over 17,000 total duplicate ballots — meaning ballots submitted by individuals who voted more than once in the election — were found. Here

The more than 50,000 ballots flagged by auditors for more investigation involved concerns ranging from people voting from addresses from which they had already moved to residents voting twice. The total in question was nearly five times the 10,400 vote margin that separated the two presidential candidates, giving Donald Trump’s troops fresh reason to call for more scrutiny.
The job of resolving the question now falls to Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, a Republican who has ambitions of winning a U.S. Senate seat in 2022. More

Ben Cotton [of forensic auditors CyFIR] shared the IT results from the audit of the 2020 Election Results in Maricopa County. During his presentation, he noted that files were deleted by those involved in the election the day before the machines were to be handed over to the audit team.
Cotton noted that his team was able to identify the time stamps for when the files were deleted and altered by Maricopa County officials.

AZ AG Mark Brnovich wants to be their next governor, ergo if he wants to be elected he needs to take what the AZ senate has found and investigate and prosecute as far and wide as possible. This hopefully, will put some fear into AZ dems about cheating and win the trust and confidence of AZ voters.
So, Brnovich certainly has incentive, whether he actually does anything can’t be taken for granted.

The buck is on Mark Brnovich’s desk, supposedly a Republican. If he decertifies Nov. 3, that opens the way for other states to continue or start their own audits. If he does nothing, the other states will cave, thinking it is not worth the time and money.
