Dryden Wire

On November 16, 2021, at approximately 2:51 am, the Cumberland City Hall [Wisconsin] building was struck by a vehicle being operated by Nicholas F Brannan causing extensive property damage.

Upon reviewing video surveillance, it was apparent the act was intentional and statements made by Nicholas Brannan confirmed this as he stated he intentionally struck the building with his vehicle.

Brennan stated he struck the building because he was upset by a Cumberland Police Officer issuing a citation to his family member.

Although City Hall was closed at that time, the Cumberland Police Department is within the same building. An Officer on duty was seated inside the building approximately twenty feet from where the vehicle entered the building. Thankfully, there were no injuries as a result of the crash. More
