North Korea fired a suspected ballistic missile off its east coast on Wednesday, authorities in Japan said, while South Korea reported the launch of an unspecified projectile.
The launch would be the first of the new year for nuclear-armed North Korea, and comes days after leader Kim Jong Un vowed to continue developing the military to counter an unstable international situation.

I am absolutely against North Korea in every respect.

Well, it wasn’t fired from a rail gun or a Hitler-like, giant cannon. So, if the object’s trajectory was truly “ballistic,” then it was a “ballistic missile.” If it wasn’t a ballistic trajectory, then it was a guided missile or a lift-generating body like a cruise missile, or both.
Of course, they know the track, so they KNOW if it was “ballistic” or not.
