Prime Minister Boris Johnson says Plan B rules in England will start to be scrapped from tomorrow, with more rules ending next week.
The first stage will be an end to wearing masks in classrooms, which starts tomorrow.
People will no longer be told to work from home and, from Thursday next week when Plan B measures lapse, mandatory Covid certification will end, Mr Johnson said.
The Government will also no longer mandate the wearing of face masks anywhere from next Thursday and they will be scrapped in classrooms from this Thursday.
The news comes as Covid infection levels are falling in most parts of the UK for the first time since early December.
That will include track and trace – and wearing masks in shops and on public transport.
Self isolation rules for people who have Covid will end on March 24.
Boris Johnson said the legal requirement on people with coronavirus to self-isolate will be allowed to lapse when the regulations expire on March 24, and that date could be brought forward.

…meanwhile, I work in a closed container area of a factory in a city, state, and county that have all dropped the mask mandate which my employer did briefly as well, wearing an obedience totem across my mouth because it’s a food plant and some Federal asshole said that we have to do it for the Federal inspectors in our plant because they scare easy or something, or we can’t be in business anymore since they will pull them…
…it’s not nothing, either, since other industries do NOT have Federal personnel on site so they do NOT have to do that, and given how hard it is to get people to work in a Democrat world, we may lose out on new employees just for that…

Reading today that the Brandon Admin will be sending out N95 masks, 400 MILLion of them, to the American public. About like shutting the barn door after the cows have escaped? So I wonder mow much this boondoggle will cost us ?
