I like that the community is reaching out for more varied type projects. Jethro had the “homescape” project, and now we present Conservative Cowgirl’s project – The Farmscape.
This is a property near and dear to her heart. It will be a gift for someone special. I hope the recipient enjoys. I hope you enjoy.
I hope it inspires others to commission.
Lovely painting. Would like to live there!
How ya gonna keep ’em down on the farm? Make the farm look like that!
Nice work!
I’m pasting that in my window, to block the view of the snow.
Looks like a heck of a nice place.
Youโre going to need a bigger trophy case if you keep this up
Country bliss
Very nice.
I enjoy seeing your paintings.
Nice!
I’m jealous! I want to live there!
I see whut ya did there…
Trying to get Bill Gates to buy it for 5 Million bux aren’t ya!
๐
Nice picture!
Looks more like a ranch. I don’t see any potatoes. Wait. I don’t see a garden! What kind of hotel is this?
Is this for real or her dream farm?
Very Normal Rockwell. Idyllic life. No weeds or dirt. Must have a grounds person. And no neighbors! Can we visit?
(I just spent three hours in the dirt so I’m momentarily happy.)
Very nice. Iโd like to sit on the fence and watch the horses graze and the sunset and smell the fresh country air. Aaaaahhhhh. ๐
Beautiful. I like the worn areas by each Gate.
From a distance, those four trees in the front yard look like Sequoias. She’ll be sorry they were planted. Personal experience there letting them get YUGE! And then taking them out is a monsterous job, including the stumps and roots.
Wow, Fur. Fantastic!
Lovely setting. So peaceful.
This put a bug in my ear. I have some pictures of my property I just might think about…
Kentucky?
@Genera Malaise–
You are right about sequoias being a problem. But I don’t think those are sequoias. When sequoias get that tall, they have a large section of bare trunk at the bottom. A thick section of trunk. A difficult section of trunk to cut through and haul away. Don’t ask me how I know.
(Of course, “General” is spelled with a terminal “l”. Sorry…)
I am thrilled with this painting! The photo doesn’t do it justice. It’s my son and his wife’s home and I will bring it to them for their wedding anniversary (and the anniversary of buying the farm!)this summer. They are going to grow their own hay for their horses and he asked me to come and teach them to grow a vegetable garden. With six horses, they have all the fertilizer they will need. ๐ (they bought one more horse since you shipped the painting, Fur. Lol!)
@Illust8r, I need to build a mother-in-law cottage so I can do just that! Plus, find some riding trails and take the horses on adventures. I can’t wait to go there!
AntiQ, not Kentucky…
What a nice gift for your son and his family! Excellent work BFH and that looks like a wonderful place for a family.
As much as I dig the critters I love the landscapes.
There was one did some time back of someone’s dad fishing on a lake. (sorry I cannot remember who that was right now).
A twofer BFH.
And I LOVE farm structures and old barns.
Conservative Cowgirl, awesome piece of property! There will be all kinds of good living there.
Another Fur masterpiece!
@joe6pack, definitely some wonderful memories are being made for my son and his wife! It makes me feel so blessed to see them happy.
Virginia?
@Ghost of brig gen j glover, too far south…๐

@ghost, lol! You’re getting warmer…

@Ghost, wrong turn!
We don’t have much to do on a Friday night, do we? Lol
