  1. A later photo (now mysteriously removed) of the detained and naked suspect showed a rare but massive sexual disease of “Cracked Crickets” around his enlarged and swollen scrotum area.

The suspect indicated that the cracked cricket attack was so immediate and devastatingly painful from the ripping of scrotum flesh that he had to respond quickly with his firearm.

  2. We have a reader that lives there. Everyone and their brother carries a gun In Oroville. I know that place well. I’ll guarantee you this is another case of armed citizens hesitant to act for fear of being charged or sued.
Oroville also has a big homeless population. And among them a lot of crackheads.

  3. @Brad: This is the reason when I go into WalMart I look for places to dive under to get out of the line of fire. I even tease the greeters that they have a target on their back (a six petal flower). I always get the weird look…The WalMart spoken about is a Super WalMart. Oroville doesn’t have near the homeless problem as Chico does. Drive down to the end of Park Ave, and there’s acres and acres of homeless. As for meth, it’s everywhere throughout the US. In richer areas it’s cocaine. Butte County doesn’t even have a weed dispensary–Yuba County does. First I heard about this shooting, I’ll ask around about it. Brad is right, everyone is armed here, and we like our Sheriff. RCBS is also located here, those into reloading knows who RCBS is. BTW, this isn’t the first ever WalMart shooting, it’s a magnet for undesirables.

  4. Okay, first off, the shooting did not take place at WalMart. The suspect was caught there. The AM/PM (Greyhound bus stop) is located at least .5 miles from WalMart. There’s open fields between AM/PM and WalMart. Best to get the details correct.

    OROVILLE SHOOTING INVESTIGATION

Oroville, CA- On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at approximately 7:35 p.m., the Oroville Police Department (OPD) began to receive 911 calls indicating there was a Greyhound bus outside the AM/PM store, located on Oroville-Dam Blvd. and Feather River Blvd. and a shooting was taking place inside the bus. OPD Officers responded and requested BCSO deputies respond to the location as well. Upon arrival, BCSO deputies and OPD officers located several subjects suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving measures, one person was pronounced dead at the scene and others were transported to local hospitals.

The shooting suspect fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival. Shortly after, the Oroville Police Department began to receive additional 911 calls with callers stating the suspect was inside Walmart, located on Cal Oak Road in Oroville. BCSO deputies, along with several allied law enforcement officers responded to Walmart and contacted the suspect, and located evidence that gave them cause to believe it was the suspect involved in the shooting. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Butte County Jail. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when it is available.

A press briefing has been scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday February 3, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. at the Butte County District Attorney’s Office, located at 25 County Center Drive, Oroville.

  5. Homeless solution: Most of them are drug addicts. They need a fix every few hours. Take them to jail for 3 days. Water only. When they get out of jail they’ll tell their druggie-bum-homeless pals. They’ll get the hell outta Dodge before that happens to them.

  6. I was walking through a Walmart in a hurry to pick up something on my way home from work and walked past a man who looked middle eastern and noticed a gun sticking partway out of his right front pants pocket. Got me outta there ASAP.
