“mis-dis-mal-information” Coming from Department of Homeland Security

Fox News

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Monday issued a bulletin warning of a heightened terrorism alert in part because of “the proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions.”

“The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information (MDM) introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors,” DHS said in its National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin, which remains in effect until June 7. 1. Lone wolves and small cells comprised of recent muslim Afghanistan and ISIS refugees air lifted to the US by the Biden Administration.
    Not to discount the thousands of muslim terrorists who entered the US by the open Southern Border.

  2. Now the new narrative will be that we WANT the curtailment of Free Speech so we can FEEL safe!!!

    Why are the people who continuously lie to us surprised that we don’t believe them anymore?

    The DHS was always a blueprint for a national police force with the full power of the Federal Government behind it with zero accountability to the people. Now that we’ve seen how all of the Federal law enforcement agencies have been weaponized against the people, it’s time to dismantle the ATF, FBI, DHS, and the TSA. Their very existence is anathema to Freedom.

  3. Covid and election speptics take note here. And a question for Thomas Lifson: How is that groveling apology to Dominion working out for you?

    What did Rush say about the wisdom of apologising for your beliefs?

  4. undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions

    What “trust” is required, to do the people’s business?

    The people only need be informed of the options under consideration. The people only need see the options weighed. The people only need see the decisions made. (And by whom… but such is an inescapable part of witnessing the process.)

    It’s just like Science(TM).

    I don’t remember what Rush said, but the references to the Dane-Geld made here that I filled in the source is all that needs be said with regard to bullying. It matters not if the tribute be paid in gold or paid in accepting their demands irrespective of how insignificant the seeming cost. I’ll tell you what the net cost is to paying tribute – way more than I can afford. This I know to be a stone cold natural fact.

    I just wish somebody… some ancestor, maybe… had explained “If you pay the Dane, the first time… rather than kill the Dane, the very first time… they attack you… you will never be rid of the Danes’ attacks”.

    Stupid, old, white, guys…

    Dane-Geld
    A.D. 980-1016
    It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation
    To call upon a neighbour and to say: —
    “We invaded you last night–we are quite prepared to fight,
    Unless you pay us cash to go away.”

    And that is called asking for Dane-geld,
    And the people who ask it explain
    That you’ve only to pay ’em the Dane-geld
    And then you’ll get rid of the Dane!

    It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
    To puff and look important and to say: —
    “Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
    We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”

    And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
    But we’ve proved it again and again,
    That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
    You never get rid of the Dane.

    It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
    For fear they should succumb and go astray;
    So when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
    You will find it better policy to say: —

    “We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
    No matter how trifling the cost;
    For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
    And the nation that pays it is lost!”

    Kipling nails it. You don’t give in to bullying unless you want more of it.

    In case you do not recognize it this is the dynamic that the Progressive movement put in play with both the Mostly Peaceful Rioting offensive as well as the Covid offensive. It is how the decades long Global Warming war on us has been prosecuted and it is simply how they roll. The way to end it is to end it once and for fucking all and stand our ground now and in the future. Period. Full stop. Whenever they show up with their next demand, roll it up in a ball, tape it to the toe of our boots and kick it straight back up their asses.

    …I think the nakedly fraudulent “election” followed by persecuting people for questioning the obvious lies by weaponizing EVERY SINGLE FACET OF GOVERNMENT AGAINST POLITICAL ENEMIES, followed by two years of unrelenting tyranny including forcibly poisoning people did a MUCH better job of “undermin(ing) public trust in U.S. government institutions” than any Internet troll ever could…

    Three Things That Were Considered ‘Dangerous Misinformation’ Last Year Which are Now Widely Accepted as Truth
    Eight months ago, if you said if you get vaccinated you can still catch COVID and you can still spread COVID — you will be removed from social media … Now, that’s accepted as fact,”
    “If you said ‘I don’t think cloth masks work’ you would be banned from social media. Now that’s openly and repeatedly stated on CNN.‘
    “If you said, ‘I think it’s possible that COVID-19 came from a lab,’ you’d be banned from many social media platforms. Now that’s on the cover of Newsweek,”
