That forces you to shake your fist, and throw your (and your children’s, and your grand-children’s, and your unborn great-grand-children’s) wallet(s) at them.

Meanwhile, here in Virginia, democrats have killed Gov Youngkin’s gas tax moratorium. Instead, today Dems proposed a one time $50 check which might be used on gas. Or lottery tickets. Or liquor. Or drugs. Whatever.
and they just voted themselves a 21% pay raise
They never go there, so how could they know?
The founders concept of Citizen legislatures has been butchered all to hell and back. And we are left with these POSs who are there only for self enrichment.
The elite aren’t worried about little things like gas prices or the cost of food and housing for deplorables. They have much bigger concerns like how much can they skim off aid to Ukraine and what they can get for selling secrets to China.
A friend has a politician in his family who is hoping for $10/gal gas and a 2x-3x increase in electricity prices because we stupid proles just aren’t willing to do what’s right to save the world from a climate catastrophe.
