MMin, the uniformed Chinese cops have Police written in English so that foreign visitors will know they are the police. English translations are frequently under the Chinese names of stores. The Chinese merchants know who the cops are and don’t need to see it written on a vest in Chinese

Yes, so far it’s economic war which we’ve allowed to happen, or more likely have been an active partner in making it happen. I think there is a slim possibility of a shooting war between us and China, but more probably it will be averted by just giving China what it wants. The west does not have the intestinal fortitude to go to war with China.
We and our “partners” are spread all over the globe and China’s objective is 90 miles off it’s own coast. The Ukraine thing is a dress rehearsal for what’s coming. We can expect bitching and squealing from the west over the fate of the Taiwanese people but no military intervention.
