Denver-

‘It’s Not Worth It’: HVAC Company Says It Will No Longer Service Customers in Downtown Denver.

“It’s not really worth it to put up with it,” said Tony Cirbo, operations manager for AC Mechanical and Engineering. He said the company works up and down the Front Range with about 100 industrial and commercial clients.

But Cirbo said, after hearing from field crews who were “very nervous” working in parts of downtown, the company made the decision to turn down work requests from downtown Denver. Cirbo said the business decision was also due in part to the fact that the company only had two clients in downtown Denver.

But he said his crews complained about coming across needles, drug paraphernalia, feces and were concerned about theft.

“You don’t know what’s going to happen,” Cirbo said.

In a recent email to a downtown customer, Cirbo wrote, “We made a decision as a company not to do any work downtown almost two years (ago). The technicians were tired of stepping over needles, human feces, vans getting broken into, etc.”

He told CBS4 ,”You don’t know whats going to happen,” and he felt thieves in downtown Denver would steal “anything that’s not locked down.”

  1. It’s been over 20 years since I’ve been to Denver but even back then I was shocked at the level of homelessness in the downtown area. I was even more shocked that the homeless were almost all young, 20 somthing, white kids. WTF.

“But, I thought legalizing weed was going to solve all of Colorado’s problems….”

…well, it WOULD have, but, White Supremacy and, Trump and, Global Warming and, Russia and, Abortion restrictions or CO would be Nirvana.

  3. Name me one, large, Democrat-run, American city where this isn’t happening.

Seriously. Their “culture” isn’t sustainable. It leads only to decay and collapse.

  4. There are a lot of nice parts of downtown Denver, but I haven’t seen much of downtown to see the bad parts. Parks around the river and the town around the baseball field are nice.
Definitely lots of homeless, but nothing like West L.A. Probably worse in Boulder than in Denver.

  5. Moved to Denver in 72; the sky was the limit. Opportunity existed everywhere. Not certain exactly when but I think the bumper stickers saying “Don’t Californicate Colorado” started showing up around 78. I left in 82. What a shame. Fing liberal bastards.

…the way they “sustain” it is by theft from the producers and wealth transefers (after politicians take their vigorish) to their minions, be they illegals, brownshirts, or whatever.

One of the things that sealed their “steal the election at any cost” strategy was when President Trump announced that Federal taxes would no longer have write-offs for State taxes. This made the high tax Democrat states apoplectic as they would no longer be able to hide their theft by doing what was, in effect, a wealth transfer from the Federal government to the high tax states at the expense of the lower taxed states and their productive, honest citizens. This was going to upset one of their biggest scams and means of funding things like CA socialized medicine at the expense of the rest of the country in its less-than-obvious way, so President Trump HAD to go so they could go back to business as usual, with Federal taxpayers none the wiser and State taxpayers not giving a rip about their high taxes since they were going to get it back from the Feds anyway.

Is human feces a code word for Democrat politicians, they seem to go together.

At least they have Access Point – Syringe Exchange – Colorado Health Network Inc.
You don’t want your drug addicts catching hepatitis, a dead customer won’t consume as much.

  8. I stopped servicing anything in Downtown Toronto about 15 years ago.
It had already become a waste of time due to Traffic, Parking, Bike lanes & lack of suppliers. It apparently is much worse now. Crime was not that bad & still is not. (one good thing)
I have 3 areas in the suburbs that keep me very busy, well paid & able to park & access supplies. It saves a fortune on fuel too.

  9. The homeless that I see around these parts are male, white, between the ages of 18 and 45. Not unheard of to find dead bodies now and then. Don’t hear anything about who, what, when, only where. Longevity isn’t in the genes of the homeless.

Yeah well, cut out all the free shit and get ’em jobs and guess whut?
They’ll learn how to feed themselves!

  11. Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city
Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty
    How can you lose?
The lights are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares
