Nancy Pelosi’s husband killed his older brother in 1957 sports car crash

NYP-

Nancy Pelosi’s husband killed his older brother when he flipped his sports car in California — 65 years before he was arrested over the weekend and charged with drunk driving, newspaper clippings show.

Paul Pelosi was 16 when he crashed his car near San Mateo in the early hours of Feb. 22, 1957, the Daily Mail reported, citing a local news report from the time.

His brother, David Pelosi, 19, was likely strangled by a neck brace he had been wearing due to a previous neck fracture, according to the San Francisco Examiner report.

Paul, who suffered a broken collarbone in the wreck, called for help after breaking free from his car, the report said.

Highway Patrolman Thomas Ganley told the local outlet at the time that Paul said his older brother had urged him to slow down in the moments before the crash.

  1. Negligent manslaughter is homicide. Although homicide is a coroner’s judgement, the negligent part carries more weight. Something went wrong in 1957. Probably millions of things.

  2. “The patrolman said he planned to cite Paul for misdemeanor manslaughter, but the case never made it to court and the then-teen was exonerated by a coroner’s jury.”

Even then, child of privilege, getting off Scott-free. 16 year old Joy riding at 2:40 am? No breathalizer in 1957, unfortunately.

And I see his attorney is now spinning the narrative on his latest “joy ride” mishap.

Mmm. Not sure if you’re implying guilt with that word or not. But homicide is simply a death caused by another human. No guilt associated with that determination alone.

Might be more of a determination by a detective. Was the cause that the coroner determined from another human… Accidentally poisoned eating a bad mushroom, or murderous poisoning by another, would be one example.

I shoot someone trying to kill me and my family? It’s a homicide. A justifiable one, but still a homicide.

  4. Guilt has nothing to do with it. It’s simply Homicide. No matter what happened. It’s up to others HOW it happened and whether it’s negligent, justifiable, or any otherwise.

  6. Are the Pelosi’s related to the Kennedy’s by any chance? I hate elitist snobs who seemingly get away with everything which would get most of us plebes thrown into the slammer for a long time. I’ve known (we’ve all known) far too many of these jerks and they’re everywhere unfortunately.
