Tom Brady had a chance to do what he is famous for. He had a chance to ice a contest. He could have won The Match, a celebrity-charity golf event, on the final hole. But Brady missed.
That left the burden on his teammate Aaron Rodgers to defeat Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. Brady, Allen and Mahomes all finished the final hole in three strokes. Because it was a game of “Skins” (where the team with the lowest score gets a point for the hole), Brady needed Rodgers to finish with two strokes to win the final hole. Sorry but I’m not real sports-minded.
I find it difficult to care about someone ‘sinking’ a ball when the entire country is sinking.
Sometimes sports ball is a great escape from the nightmare of politics today. Unless those running the sports ball establishment decide to use their entertainment venues to push their B.S. politics. Which sadly is most of it now-a-days.
