He didn’t have to. As soon as they pulled him over they ran the plates, when it came up “Pelosi”, the call went into the watch commander, and the order came back to turn off the cameras. Marin County SO doesn’t want to get “defunded”.
So, his road handicap is 4.

Four hours to sober up and no body cameras. Seems about right. More proof that we are living in a country with a two tiered legal system. Hopefully, there was a female passenger in his car who will get a paycheck for the trauma and bruises that she sustained when her head hit the floorboard.
